Chamford Gymnastics is always looking at opportunities to help school’s incorporate gymnastics as part of their curriculum. Gymnastics classes at Chamford are specifically designed to provide fun, fitness, friendship and fundamental movement skills in a safe and positive environment, and are suited to students of all ages and abilities.
Chamford is a family friendly club, established near Murrumbeena in 1982 and we’ve been teaching gymnastics to toddlers through to teens since that time.
Our mission is to provide carefully planned classes that encourage each child to learn at their own pace and to gain confidence and improved self-esteem as they progressively master the physical challenges covered at each level of gymnastics. We strive to help each child achieve and be the best they can be.
Chamford is a fully set up gymnastics facility with a sprung floor, beams, uneven bars, trampolines, rings and parallel bars. We are able to set up circuits and drills to assist in learning skills which can be modified for students of all ages and abilities.
We offer school programs for students in Prep, all the way through to Year 12. A program can be designed for a once off introductory class, or a 10 week program which will develop the basic shapes, or progressions that move to intermediate and advanced gymnastics skills on each of the apparatus. All classes are run by coaches accredited through Gymnastics Australia and have a ratio of 1 coach per 10 students.
The duration of each session can be set when you book in for the first time. Sessions can run for 1 hour, 1 ½ hours or a 2 hour block.
Please ring or email the office for availability of days and times.
